Customer communications management software vendor, Formpipe Lasernet, has strengthened its international senior leadership team with the appointment of new chief operations officer, Christian Østergaard.
Drawing upon his 20 plus years’ experience in the technology sector, Christian is fully equipped to hit the ground running in his new role. Improving internal processes, including project delivery times and rate of implementations, as well as ensuring strategies are adhered to and customers’ needs are met, will be core focuses for Christian in the coming months. Formpipe Lasernet’s newest recruit will also be responsible for managing a talented team of project leaders, quality managers and testers, business analysts, developers, supporters, Microsoft Azure, Navision, Dynamics AX and 365 technology specialists and consultants, nurturing partner and customer relationships alike.
While previously holding a position at Lasernet’s parent company, Formpipe, as the head of operations for the firm’s flagship EQMS Platina software in Denmark, Christian is well-placed to drive Lasernet’s ambitious growth plans forward. Christian comments: “After successfully growing the Platina market in Denmark over the last 2 years, I’m excited to be joining Lasernet at such a transformational time in the company’s history. Lasernet has expanded rapidly over the last 18 months – shifting from a Danish company supporting Danish businesses to a truly global business with 80 per cent of sales originating from outside of Denmark. With such a strong product and reputation, coupled with the recent opening of the first US office, Lasernet has all the foundations in place for global market dominance.
“There is so much opportunity and demand for Lasernet and I’m particularly interested in strengthening our offering in Europe and the US, while exploring the market opportunities in the APAC and South American regions. It’s a very exciting time to be joining the team both in terms of the firm’s growth and the changing face of the market place. For instance, Azure and other cloud based technologies remain under-utilised in many industries so as uptake begins to flourish, as will our ability to help businesses embrace innovation in customer communications management, whilst reducing cost, saving time and working more effectively.”
Formpipe Lasernet’s CEO Anders Eriksen, believes that Christian is the right man for the job and is confident in his ability to increase the efficiency of the firm. Anders Eriksen comments: ““Over the last twenty years we’ve carved out a reputation for working closely with our partners and customers to enhance the standard document management functionality available in ERP solutions with simple to use, yet highly effective features that empower businesses to better communicate with their customers and create new revenue streams through intelligent and targeted communication.
“We are growing at a rapid pace and expanding globally, which is great news but naturally brings with it an increase in the size and complexity of the implementations that we undertake across all ERP markets from Microsoft Dynamics AX, 365 and Navision, to Infor and Oracle.
“Christian’s appointment puts us in a very strong position for the future as we continue to deliver unrivalled ERP integration, quick and efficient implementation and, crucially, ease and flexibility when it comes to designing, managing and disseminating brand-rich, perfectly aligned business documents across all formats.”
