Lasernet sets its sights on further success with expansion

22 April 2018

Following an impressive start to 2018 – which saw Lasernet being introduced onto the accredited Microsoft platform, AppSource – the customer communications management ISV is proving it has no intention of slowing up as it is proud to announce expansions within its team.

As part of this growth, the company, which last year became one of the first independent software vendors of its kind in the world to announce its migration to pure extensions-based integration with Microsoft Dynamics, has appointed three new members of staff; each with ambitions to facilitate the company in forging new partnerships, enticing more customers, and promoting the attractive USPs of Lasernet’s software.

The first appointment is Peter De Bruin who will be responsible for opening new channels for the business; particularly focusing on Lasernet for NAV. He joins the company following 8-and-a-half years of service as sales director EMEA for cloud solutions provider, SaaSplaza. His experience means he is armed with key insights into the dynamics channel for CRM, NAV and AX, and believes that this knowledgebase will allow him to penetrate key markets and make offers no one can refuse.

Also hoping to make great impressions on customers is 21-year-old Tobias Dupont who joins the team as a technical consultant; responsible for supporting, delivering and training new partners and customers in Lasernet. With over five years of customer service skills, problem-solving and client engagement under his belt – all acquired during his time as an IT supporter for Danish IT solutions company, ADmire – Tobias looks forward to utilising his experience and embracing the challenges and satisfactions his new role will bring.

Similarly, seasoned software developer, Betina Rubæk has joined the team. Her twenty-plus years working with AX partners means she is well equipped to take on her new responsibilities which will see her providing specialised support for Key Distributors and partners on Lasernet’s connector. Although the former CGI developer has forged a successful career, developing AX and Dynamics 365 solutions, she is using this role to learn new perspectives on a system she is so well-versed in, and is open to the new task of working on the customer-end.

Commenting on the new recruits, chief commercial officer at Lasernet, Mike Rogers, said: “Last year marked a series of successes for Lasernet and, this year, we are by no means willing to stagnate. Our industry is constantly changing and it’s vital that we keep up with the evolution. Our newest recruits represent our constant want for progression, and I believe they’re well equipped to help take Lasernet to new heights. Peter, Tobias and Betina all carry with them invaluable skills and knowledge from their respective backgrounds, and we’re exceptionally proud to have them on board.”

With Lasernet operating across continents – boasting offices throughout Scandinavia, The Netherlands, France, Germany, the UK and the USA – the new recruits will be stationed in their native countries, including Denmark and The Netherlands, and have a remit to help all our partners globally.
