Formpipe Lasernet will be exhibiting at European Utility Week in Amsterdam 3rd-5th October, alongside Ferranti Computer Systems. Proud to be Ferranti’s official customer communication management partner, the Lasernet team will be on hand at the event to offer demonstrations and insight into how the Lasernet software enhances Ferranti’s MECOMS™ R4 business support system, with benefits including lower costs, minimised risk exposure, reduced output management lead times and improved quality control.
The partnership between the two firms was established after Ferrnati selected Lasernet’s software to be incorporated as standard on the latest version of its market-leading data and customer information management system MECOMS™ R4, designed specifically for utilities businesses. As a result, MECOMS™ R4 users benefit from Lasernet’s easy to use technology, which enables users to quickly and simply create, modify and disseminate brand-rich documentation, such as purchase orders, invoices and labels using different digital channels, and across all common formats. It also empowers users to save time and cut the costs associated with reliance upon specialist AX developers.
Speaking ahead of the annual event, Mike Rogers, sales and marketing director at Formpipe Lasernet, said: “We’re proud to have been chosen as the standard customer communication software to compliment the MECOMS™ R4 offering, and of our relationship with the Ferranti team. Over the last year many customers have implemented the system and we have received some fantastic feedback, which is brilliant and is a testament to the success of the collaboration.
“European Utility Week is a major event in our calendar and is attended by industry leaders, which presents us with the perfect opportunity to connect with businesses looking to streamline processes, work more efficiently and deliver first-class customer service.”
Built on Microsoft Dynamics AX, Ferranti’s flagship MECOMS™ solution has been enabling users in the energy, water and utilities markets to more efficiently manage meter data and customer information for decades.
