Following the hire of Nick Collard as the firm’s new sales executive, customer communications software vendor, Formpipe Lasernet has continued to grow its UK-based team with the addition of highly skilled technical consultant, Cheryl Morris.
Cheryl has strong project management skills coupled with ERP knowledge gained from twenty plus years of experience in the ERP software industry, and working as a project manager in her previous role. Specialist technical knowledge is essential for Formpipe Lasernet, and will put Cheryl in good stead when implementing Lasernet’s software, and training and supporting Lasernet customers to ensure that they receive all the benefits that the software offers.
Before joining the Formpipe Lasernet team, Cheryl gained full training and qualifications to work on implementing ERP systems including, Sage 300 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and provided data migration, ERP and Crystal Report training to clients post implementation. Such relevant experience is one of the many aspects that Mike Rogers, sales and marketing director at Formpipe Lasernet, believes makes Cheryl the perfect candidate to take on the role. He explains: “The industry that we operate in is very specialised and we search far and wide for people with the type of skills Cheryl possesses. Her AX experience is especially valuable, as we carry out a large number of Lasernet implementations with Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP systems. I speak on behalf of the whole Lasernet team, when I say that we are really happy to be welcoming Cheryl into the team and are incredibly confident in the value she will deliver to our partners and customers alike.”
Keen to extend her existing knowledge, Cheryl is looking forward to taking on a new challenge and getting to grips with the Lasernet software, she adds: “I see this as a great opportunity for me to expand my knowledge and learn about a completely new software. In the current political climate, there is a lot of uncertainty, with many companies tightening their belts and streamlining processes to remain competitive. This represents a huge opportunity for Formpipe Lasernet to capitalise on the cost savings and efficiencies that organisations can realise by digitalising their customer communications management.
“The company has grown massively over the last few years and I’m very pleased to be playing a part in helping to drive the business even further forward over the coming years”
Lasernet seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Dynamics AX, NAV, SAP and Infor, along with a majority of other ERP solutions, to streamline customer communications management processes, including the design and dissemination of business documents across multiple formats. Proven benefits of the software include: lower costs, minimized risk exposure, reduced lead times, and improved quality control.
Cheryl Morris will be based in the Danish company’s UK office in Duxford, Cambridge.
